Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Jeri and I wanted to reach out to share some great news about E•talia. We have recruited a new chef and his family to become the Chef – Owners of the restaurant.
We are passing the baton to Chef Ryan Lund who hails from Minneapolis. Chef Ryan holds several accolades and awards from the national restaurant community. He was the Executive Chef of James Beard Award winning Lucia’s Restaurant for 7 years and most recently opened a premiere restaurant at The Hotel Landing in Wayzata, MN. He is also a skilled culinary instructor who enjoys sharing his knowledge of food with students and restaurant guests alike.
His wife Susan who is also a chef, has managed several successful restaurants in the Twin Cities. She will take on the role of restaurant general manager.
Chef Ryan and Susan are working closely with Jeri and I to ensure a smooth transition of ownership for our restaurant guests. Chef has already been adding handmade fresh pasta and vegetarian options to the menu. That being said, your favorites will still be available for you to enjoy.
Jeri and I will now assume roles as ambassadors of E•talia as well as frequent guests. If you want to catch up with us, we will be continuing to enjoy the E•talia wine specials on Thursday nights and group dinners on Saturday’s. We will continue to be active with the wine dinners and as community servants. If you need us, please reach out to us directly.
One additional opportunity for us to connect will be a special reception at E•talia on Sunday, February 18 from 3-5 pm. This will be our opportunity to introduce you to Chef Ryan and Susan. We will provide wine and light appetizers during the family friendly reception. Jeri and I are also planning on dinner that evening at E•talia. We look forward to seeing you then, if not sooner.
